Wal-Mart has a couple more sets to add to its expanding line of Mustang Special Run sets ... this time two versions of "Spirit the Stallion of the Cimarron" families.  They each include a buckskin stallion (standing Mesteno & galloping Andalusian molds), chestnut pinto mare (Trotting Andalusian Mare and Standing Kiger mare molds) and bucksin pinto foal (Kiger foal from series and Classica Andalusian Foal molds).

Some mid-year releases for Breyer are being advertised on their home page, sure to appear in the Breyer tent at BreyerFest (RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!!) ... first up is a traditional-scale Pick-up truck to pull this year's new Horse Trailer, next is the Paso mold sculpted by Linda York which is debuting in dark bay as the 2002 BreyerFest mold, but as a regular run in a yummy dapple grey.  Also new:  Holiday Barn Accessory Set (christmas decorations for your Traditional Scale Breyer Barn), Shekoppe (Mid State SR, Western Pleasure Horse in grey/blue roan blanket appy), Holiday Carousel Ornament (Lion - third in a series), Mischeif the Holiday Donkey (Brighty in light chestnut dressed in Santa hat and tangled in lights), Roy Rogers and Trigger (Porcelain?  Limited Editon), Seattle Slew with Roses (same as the QVC "SR"), Goat (new color - strawberry roan spotted), Fancy Wagon with Team (classic scale featuring 2 shires, one is the new mold sculpted by Kathleen Moody and one more in a different position, both released in bay with blue wagon), Hoppalong Cassidy's Topper (Western Horse in White), Holiday Ornament Craft Kit (5 SM's with paints and ornament hangers!), Shockwave (Fall collector's edition - the rearing stallion/tr scale in old style dapple grey with black points), Brandywine (2002 Fall Show Special - Adios in a beautifully shaded red dun) and finally, Gunner (USET Festival of Champions SR - this model was previously a SR on the Black Horse Ranch line and this time is released on the Breyer Classic scale reining horses - chestnut with high white stockings and bald face. There are also a half dozen or so new stuffed animals ... maybe even a dozen ;)

Breyer has announced advertising space in this year's BreyerFest program ... "Are you interested in advertising in the BreyerFest 2002 Event Program? Space is still available -- on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can purchase either a 1/2 page ad for $250, or a full page ad for $400. Please contact Gloria Long, Event Manager, by July 1 at GLong@ReevesIntl.com for more information. Thanks for the interest!"

The next Connoisseur line SR model is "Bold Impression" ... the Huck Bey mold in bay pinto with detailed mapping!  You must be a subscriber to JAH to purchase him!

The Stone web site is featuring online proxy bidding for it's one-of-a-kind Test Run pieces to be aucitoned off in Chincoteague at the "Stone Beach Party" Saturday, June 22.  The official SR is "Butterfinger" the Stone Arab mold in a glossy palomino type color reflective of the Chinese style dripping paint SR released last year on the QH mold.

Congratulations to the "Master Horse" winners ... Grand Champion "Acomita" by Lu Heater from Albuquerque, NM was a short/short Quarter horse painted like an American Indian war shield.  Go to the Stone web site (http://www.stonehorses.com) for pics of the winners and runners up!

Look for "Pebbles" the first classic-scale release from Stone, sculpted by D'Arry Jone Frank at this year's BreyerFest, I mean Equilocity (grin!) ... no guarantee, but it's an expected 2002 release and we've already seen one SR this year on the piece!

The Stone Mag/Newsletter "Equilith" recently had a SR "In A Jiffy", a grulla pinto Stock Horse Foal. Of course you had to be a subscriber to the newsletter to find out about it and/or order it!  You can sub from the web site or use any of this info to contact the company:
