More clouds, Joshua Trees, and the entrance to the visitors center, which has a small gift shop as well where you can buy Joshua Tree seeds.  I bought a half dozen of them as souvenirs, and only one person has had any luck - growing them in direct sunlight and next to a furnace duct.  They for sure need lots of warmth and sunlight.  But believe it or not - it actually snows in Joshua Tree (the desert)!!!

Much to my delight, I saw a couple of coyotes while I was in the park.  These poor things sure were hot ... in the lower left shot if you look close, you can see how he was standing in the shade of a tiny Joshua Tree!  They come right up to you looking for scraps I suppose, and as you can see are very cooperative photo subjects!

These six shots were taken at an antique store just outside the park that was just loaded with personality!  I lost the business card I had ... but it looked like three shops in a row which turned out to be only one.  This lady's presentation was as charming as I've ever seen, and I've seen my share of antique stores!
