In case you didn't see enough photographs in the "About Me" section of this web site, lucky you - I have more!  I really appreciate a good zoo or animal park where I can shoot animals in a natural-looking environment.  While I am a sincere advocator of animals rights and I certainly do not support unkept roadside animal displays, it is my personal belief that well staffed and funded zoos are an absolute necessity in today's world.  With each passing day, there is simply more proof than to the contrary that nature cannot keep up with the destructiveness of man.  If not for the efforts of zoos and private collections, some of the world's oldest species would already be extinct.  Instead, such organizations are giving them a second chance at survival in this ever shrinking environment.
